After Instigator devised a new visual look for a CRO, we created an impactful website that clearly communicated their service offering.

The Opportunity

YPrime, a CRO that focuses on eclinical solutions for trials, had turned to Instigator for a successful brand workshop and visual refresh. Once the new brand identity had been rolled out, we were asked to focus on their corporate website.

Their site had a lot of information about their service offerings…but there was too much of it, and little of it had any context for a visitor to understand. Worse, there was no clear distinction between the offerings, leading to confusion about what exactly the company offered.

The Process

Working with YPrime’s marketing team, and pulling from the insights we uncovered during the brand workshop, Instigator pared down YPrime’s offerings into three areas: eCOA, IRT, and Data Services.

We designed a site that put these three services front and center, so there was no longer any question about what YPrime offered. “eCOA, IRT, Data Services” functions almost as a secondary tagline on the page, reinforcing this messaging.

Another big advantage of the YPrime platform was the fact that it was unified, or built from the ground up to incorporate all their services. Competing platforms are integrated, meaning that additional functionality was bolted-on as its capabilities grew. YPrime’s model is greatly preferred by end-users, since it’s much more user-friendly and intuitive.

This unified nature of the platform is also emphasized on the site, pulling all their services into one product, the eHealth Suite. This allows YPrime to not just speak about the three facets of their offering but also to position their entire service line as a marketable product for the entire clinical lifecycle.

To effectively communicate this messaging, we created an interactive and eye-catching animation for the front page of the site. This animation walks visitors through the three service offerings and the advantages of the platform in a way that is simple, direct, and fun.

The Result

The website launched in 2017 and Instigator recently expanded it to include more capablilities and expand its messaging.
